Originally from San Diego, she took to the east coast to earn her BFA in Graphic Design at Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). During her time as a student, Sara explored her interests in design for entertainment and even got the chance to be a Graphic Design Intern at The Recording Academy in Los Angeles. After graduation, she accepted a full time design position with Media.Monks working with an A-list tech client (under NDA).
Most recently she works as Creative Lead with Public Matter, a three-person creative studio that she co-founded. Utilizing branding expertise, 3D graphics and a wealth of experience spanning various design disciplines, Sara is driven by an insatiable curiosity. Her design philosophy is deeply influenced by her fascination with culture, creating a dynamic and impactful approach. With a background in the tech, entertainment and lifestyle industries, Sara seamlessly integrates her passion for design with the intricacies of these industries.
